Shadows and Reflections
I collect shadows and reflections. I tune into the quiet, sometimes overlookable moments when light interacts with my everyday environment. Shadows and reflections reveal what is both there and what is absent. Both present an ever changing, distorted view of reality.
The works are drawn at a small, intimate scale using graphite on a translucent ground. The process is slow and methodical. The drawings serve as a meditation on time, space and the subtleties of everyday beauty.
